With a 2-1 victory over Epsilon (14-16 Overpass, 16-9 Train, 16-11 Cache), Kinguin secured a third-place finish in ESEA MDL S29 Europe.

The third-place decider started on Overpass, where Kinguin took a 5-0 lead straight off the bat. Epsilon broke into the site for the first time in the following round and got on their board, putting their foot down in the match. Off of that, the European mixture managed to bring the score down to a two-round deficit, 4-6, before Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and co. started firing back.

The Poles got every round before the end of the half, finishing the CT side 11-4 up, but Epsilon won the pistol and got off to a 6-0 start after the switch. With a start like that, Daniel "djL" Narancic and co. were in control of the economy and managed to utilize that to come back on the defensive side and win their map pick 16-14.

TaZ's team finish third in the European division of MDL

Kinguin looked much better on the T side of Train, their map pick, grabbing an 8-3 at the start, despite losing the pistol and the follow-up. In the next round, Aaron "frei" Frei went huge and locked down the Ivy push single-handedly, with three frags, but Karol "rallen" Rodowicz replied with a double entry to get his team back to winning ways.

With the half finishing 11-4 and Kinguin winning the pistol on the defensive side (13-4), the match was all but concluded. However, Epsilon started putting up a fight and got the score back to 13-9 before Paweł "reatz" Jańczak hindered their B push with a 3K, allowing the retake. From there, with the double AWP rolling, TaZ and co. closed out the map, 16-9.

On the decider, Cache, Kinguin looked in control as they went up 5-0 on the CT side, but a "Hero AK" on Benjamin "blameF" Bremer combined with an A execute worked wonders and started a streak of rounds going Epsilon's way. The European team survived a scary anti-force and had Michael "Crucial" Bishop clutch a 1v2 to finally get into the lead, 6-5, but Kinguin still managed to finish the half with a minimal, 8-7 lead.

djL and frei, with two kills apiece, secured the second pistol for Epsilon, however, with rifles, and with Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski being on-point, Kinguin quickly took control of the proceedings and started bullying the B site, round after round. Fighting match point (15-10), frei managed four kills on B to save Epsilon, but an A split worked out in the following round and Kinguin took the victory, 16-11.

With that, the series was concluded 2-1 in favor of the Poles, who qualified for ESEA MDL Global Challenge S29 LAN, as well as the ESL Pro League Relegation tournament.
