ViCi and CyberZen have qualified for ESL Pro League Season 8 Asia after topping the Chinese closed qualifier.

The former side around WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong had already secured their spot over a week ago when they came out on top of the upper bracket, defeating serious competition in TYLOO, CyberZen, and MVP PK on the way.

After losing to ViCi in the upper semis, Bin "⁠Savage⁠" Liu & co. then eliminated Flash and TYLOO in the lower bracket before securing the second EPL Asia spot with a win over MVP PK in the consolidation final.

With that, all four participants of ESL Pro League Asia, which has one spot at the Finals in Odense on offer, have been determined.

However, ESL is due to make a decision regarding OpTic India's spot following last week's cheating scandal, which ended with ESL India confirming that the computer Nikhil "⁠forsaken⁠" Kumawat used at the Premiership Fall Finals contained the same software the player used against the rules at eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals.
