After a closely-fought Overpass brawl, TYLOO have defeated BIG 16-14 to reach the Group B winner's match at the Maltese event. Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand's men won the first pistol round of the event with a clean hold on the B site of Overpass as CTs. After a lengthy delay fixing problems with BIG not receiving the correct loss bonus, the Germans put themselves on the board in the fist gun round, but were reset immediately after as TYLOO reached a 3-1 lead. Fatih "gob b" Dayik's troops then rallied back, initially equalising the score to 4-4 and then taking a one round-lead themselves. HaoWen "somebody" Xu would quickly help his team even things out yet again as he found two opening kills in a semi-buy round with his CZ-75 followed by a defuse from BnTeT. The half continued going back and forth before eventually ending with a 8-7 TYLOO lead. ![]() The Chinese/Indonesian side carried over their momentum to the second half, as they won the second pistol round and also took the following anti-eco. Now with money, BIG decided to go for a triple-AUG setup that paid off, as Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz took down three and reduced the deficit to 8-10. The Germans reset TYLOO in the next round and won the following anti-eco to equalise the score once again. somebody and co. won the next pair before BIG once again turned to the triple-AUG buy, which narrowly won them their 11th round, but were then reset by a succesful bomb plant by TYLOO. BnTeT's men then reached 14 rounds on the back of a triple-kill by somebody, but tabseN would one-up his Chinese opponent with a quad-kill in the following round to put BIG at a 12-14 deficit. With the comeback in their sights, the Germans won one more pair to even out the score, but Ke "captainMo" Liu denied it by taking seven kills over the last two rounds, including an ace in the 30th, and secured TYLOO the 16-14 win.
