Space Soldiers have struck down Bravado 2-0 in the final of the WESG 2016 Africa & Middle East Regional Finals, thereby taking home the equivalent of $30,139 (16-2 on Mirage and 16-1 on Dust2).

Both teams had already booked their place at the WESG Finals, due later this year, but there was still a difference in prize money to be fought over in the battle for first place at the WESG 2016 Africa & Middle East Regional Finals. The final was one of the quickest in recent memory, as Bravado were vaporized over two maps.

The first map in the BO3 was Mirage, and Space Soldiers put up a brick wall in front of Bravado, winning their CT-half 13-2, resetting the South Africans twice. Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş and Co. weren't in the mood to play around and they closed out the map with three rounds on the T-side.

They came, they saw, they conquered

Next up was Dust2, and as the Turks were still boiling hot as lava, they ran over Bravado with 14 straight rounds on the CT side, right off the pistol, only slipping up in the 15th round. Little did it matter in the bigger picture, as Space Soldiers finished up with a swift T pistol and demolished Ruan "⁠ELUSIVE⁠" van Wyk and his men on their last gasp force buy.
